Hello everyone, today let's talk about software downloads for the Mac system.
When you want a computer that allows you to focus on work instead of games, people will recommend a Mac computer to you.
Speaking of its advantages, one is the low learning cost, especially when the new version of the system is updated, it will make it easier for you to use a Mac computer if you already know how to use an iPhone. Moreover, the system is aesthetically pleasing and easy to use, you don't have to disable this or that like in Windows, just open and use it. The seamless integration with devices like iPhones is also excellent.
Next is the security and stability. It won't crash, blue screen, or get infected easily because people who create computer viruses won't choose the Mac system with fewer users for significant gains. Additionally, this system is developed based on the Unix kernel, making it more secure. Therefore, Mac users don't need antivirus software or computer managers.
Another advantage is the professional software. Many software companies don't develop versions for Windows, and combined with the excellent color management and Unix-based features of the computer, friends in fields like programming and design will choose the Mac system.
Many people may worry about their commonly used software only being available on Windows. In that case, there is exclusive virtual machine software for the Mac system, which is often demonstrated at Apple's conferences. It allows you to seamlessly switch between the two systems, just like a virtual machine in Windows, providing a smooth experience.
A bit off-topic, today we are not promoting Mac computers, we mainly want to talk about software downloads.
For friends who are using the Mac system for the first time, they may wonder if the App Store is just for show since there doesn't seem to be any software available. Simply put, Apple's control is too strict, so if software companies can't meet the requirements, they won't participate. Fortunately, compared to iOS, Mac is not as strict, so software companies provide download links on their official websites, making it easy to install on users' Mac computers. Some software even has different functionalities between the version provided on the official website and the one on the App Store, like Telegram.
But then again, you can't just search for official websites for every software, especially with so many rogue software websites waiting to deceive people.
This brings us to the characteristics of Mac software websites. Unlike Windows and Android websites, they are not as rampant and mostly provide free software, relying on advertisements or rogue methods to make a profit.
Because there are fewer users, most Mac software websites rely on VIP services for profit. They don't have as many tricks, maybe because those rogue methods are ineffective on Mac computers.
At this point, some friends may say, "I've spent all my money on buying a computer, and now I have to pay for software. Are there no free options?"
There are, but not many. So today, I personally tested more than 40 Mac software websites one by one. Based on the following criteria, I selected 10 websites for everyone.
First, they must be free. Second, they should be convenient, without the need for registration and login. It would be best if they provide unlimited speed links for downloading. Lastly, they should have a wide range of software and fast update speeds.
To be honest, only two websites meet these criteria: digit77 and macyy. One supports Alibaba Cloud links, and the other provides 123 Cloud links.
If you don't mind registering and logging in, MarkMao is also very good. Each software provides links to six domestic cloud services.
If you don't mind limited speed on cloud services, HuaJianShe specializes in providing Baidu Cloud and CTfile links.
The other six websites either provide magnet links or limited speed links, and they are all foreign websites, so the user experience is not as good as domestic ones.
Note that when I mention limitations on speed and registration, I mean that apart from these drawbacks, the remaining aspects meet the initial requirements.
So the websites I didn't introduce either require payment, have a limited number of software, update slowly, or require registration and provide limited speed links. They are not worth recommending.
My personal recommendation is to use these top three websites, which can meet all your software download needs.
