Hello everyone, today I want to recommend a super useful AI robot to you all.
It's called chato, and its function is to customize a robot assistant specifically for you based on the knowledge base you provide.
Some friends may say that there are already websites online where you can upload PDF or Word documents and have a question-and-answer dialogue. But most of those websites charge fees, while this website is completely free.
Others may say that they are already using the test version of chatgpt, which can directly access various data online, so why use this? Well, chatgpt is too broad and often creates illusions, fabricates information, and makes up stories.
On the other hand, this customized robot is trained based on the content you provide, and its answers can be traced back to their source.
Let's try it out for ourselves to see.
Creating a Robot#
First, we create a robot. You can choose whether to prioritize learning from documents or prioritize individual personalities. We choose the former, and the default settings for the rest are fine. The reply diversity at the bottom can be adjusted based on your industry. The higher the value, the more creative the robot's responses will be.
Document Upload#
Next, we provide the robot with knowledge. You can choose between a question-and-answer format or a document format. We choose the document format and can copy and paste text here, such as internal company information or personal creations. You can also upload documents, such as books, literature, work materials, etc., as long as they are PDF, DOCX, or TXT files within 30MB. You can also paste the URL of a publicly accessible and copyable website.
Dialogue#
Then, wait for the robot to learn. For smaller documents, it only takes a few seconds to complete the learning process. Once the status shows as successful, you can start a conversation with the robot.
Its responses will be more accurate, and at the bottom, it will tell you which relevant content it based its answers on.
Out of curiosity, I also tested it with an introduction to film and television resource formats from Zhihu. Since there was too much text, I didn't feel like reading it, so I let the robot learn and generate a new introduction article. Each format was summarized in one sentence, making it simple, convenient, and easy to understand.
Free#
Furthermore, even if you don't provide knowledge documents, you can still use this robot directly. You don't need programming skills or familiarity with various prompts. You can easily train your own robot. It can be said that there is zero threshold.
However, it may be because it is still in the testing phase, it is currently completely free. But in the future, it may start charging fees. So, let's experience it now. As a free user, you can create countless bots and upload numerous documents and URLs. The only limitation is that you can only ask 150 questions per day, which is sufficient for ordinary users.
